Emmeline Pankhurst - A British Figure
Emmeline Pankhurst was a great woman! She turned, ever heroically, to face the challenges of public life. The general public program was the place where she learned to wield her power than any competitor since or before. Girls in her day weren't designed to make public addresses. When, in Europe, every other problem was swamped by the outbreak of war in August 1914, Emmeline came to the rapid decision the defeat of republican France wouldn't function the women's cause or anybody else's. At times of such pressure, she was accused of treachery to her very own cause.
Emmeline had the patience to await the brand new victories to fit the audacity of the great suffragette efforts, and understood what she was fighting for. However, if the landscape had changed so drastically, no one had done to reach it than her. Emmeline Pankhurst released her autobiography, My Own Story, in 1914.
